Where have I been?

Ok, i didnt get lost. I know its been a while since i've been blogging but I am really going to try and start back and do it faithfully instead of occasionally. Things have changed alot since my last post. I really and truly want a place where I can post my thoughts and one day my kids and grandkids can sit back and read it and either laugh at me or love me. I want them all to realize how important they are in my life.

OK Maybe I will not have time to post everyday. We had a really good weekend. We went to an in home meeting on Saturday and the service was very spiritual. A ventriloquist was there and the kids really enjoyed it. Sunday we just stayed home chillin out. Today was the kids first day back after spring break. They are not home from school yet but I hope they had a great day. I had to give my speech in class this morning and it was very emotional. I thought at one time I was just going to give it, however I stuck it out and did fairly well.

It's finally Friday

Last day of Spring break for the children. We have had a good spring break for the most part. If I could have been off with them it would have been better. Today was bill paying day, WooHoo. I was actually shaking the whole time I did them, don't ask why because I don't really know. My baby girl has been so grouchy this week. Ya' know sometimes that really gets under my skin. The boys have been great!! We have a busy weekend planned. Just the way to end their break.

About my blog

As of today, I am going to try and start writing on my blog daily. I want this to be for my children, memories that they can look back at later in life. I'm still not sure how to get my page to look nice but I'm still trying. Hopefully, I can get my lovely step daughter to come and help me out with this.

Shop in Heaven's Grocery Store

I was walking down life's highway a long time ago. One day I saw a sign that read Heaven's Grocery Store. As I got a little closer, the door came open wide, And when I came to myself I was standing inside. I saw a host of angels; they were standing everywhere. And one angel said, "My child shop with care." Everything a Christian needed was in that grocery store. And all you couldn't carry you could come back the next day for more. First, I got some patience, love was in the same row. Further down was understanding, you need that everywhere you go. I got a box or two of wisdom, a bag or two of faith. I just couldn't miss the Holy Ghost for he was all over the place. I stopped to get some strength and courage to help me run the race. But then by basket was getting full, but I remembered I needed some grace. I didn't forget salvation, for salvation that was free. So, I tried to get enough of that to save you and me. Then I started to the counter to pay my grocery bill. For I thought I had everything to do my Master's will. As I went up the aisle, I saw prayer and just had to put that in. For I knew when I stepped outside, I would run right into sin. Peace and joy were plentiful they were on the last shelf. Song and praises were hanging near so I just helped myself. Then I said, How much do I owe? He just smiled and said just take them everywhere you go. How much do I really owe? He smiled and said, My child Jesus paid your bill a long time ago.

Snow Snow Snow

Where is it coming from? God surely knows best. It is so pretty but so cold. I cant wait until the sun comes out and the temps get up to about 85. Bye Bye Winter Helloooooooo Summer.
